Rajni Malhotra Dhingra
Prof. Rajni Malhotra Dhingra, has an experience of teaching in Law for more than 17 years. She has done her LL.M from Guru Nanak Dev University (G.N.D.U), Amritsar and joined Department of Law, G.N.D.U as a Junior Research Fellow. She participated in the 33rd Study Session of International Institute of Human Rights, held at Strasbourg, France in 2002, after acquiring the partial scholarship from the IIHR.
In VIPS she held the position of Dean from May 2013 to December 21, 2015. She was the editor of ‘Vivekananda Journal of Research’. She is the editor of VIPS Law Review. She was the convenor of National Conference on Protection of the Marginalised Groups in India. She is the Convenor of Placement Cell, Convenor of Legal Aid Cell, Member of Disciplinary Committee for a number of years. As a convenor of Legal Cell. She also organised a two days training program for PLVs since 2017. She is the Head of Training Centre, VSLLS.
She is a regular resource person at Legal Aid Cell, District Court, Rohini. She is also the member of the District Legal Services Authority. She is the member of Academic Council of GGSIPU. Her area of specialization includes Law of Contract, Human Rights and Property Law. She has presented various papers in National and International Conferences and Seminars. She has also presided over various National conferences and seminars. She has been invited to judge moot court competitions by various Law Colleges.
Prof. Rajni has contributed to the Law of Contract and Transfer of Property Act Literature by writing Books. She has also authored five books.
She has also contributed number of other writings in the area of Human Rights, Women Rights and Environmental Laws in various leading National and International Law Journals and Books.
