
Dr. Aditi Mann
Dr. Aditi Mann is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (VIPS) and has nearly a decade of experience in teaching. She has taught papers on Indian History, Indian Legal History, History of Europe and Indian National Movement.
Dr. Mann has been a student of humanities and was CBSE Delhi North Zone topper in her 12th Standard. She completed her graduation as well as Post-Graduation from Hindu College, University of Delhi. She later joined Department of History, DU for her Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) where she opted for Archaeology as her specialization. While pursuing her MPhil, she also participated in Cultural Exchange Programme organized at Kyoto University, Japan. Besides this she successfully completed her two year Language Diploma from St.Stephen’s College, DU. She has been awarded her Doctorate from Department of History University of Delhi. Currently, she is pursuing her Post-Doctoral Fellowship from Centre of Inter-disciplinary Archaeological Studies, Ashoka University.
Dr. Mann has authored six articles in journals of UGC approved list and contributed four chapters in books of reputed publishing houses. She has also written articles on Indian culture and Heritage which were published in The Hindustan Times and Sahapedia. She has also drafted papers of History as the member of syllabus drafting committee of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha Univeristy. She has also successfully completed a three month course on Art History from University of Oxford with grade A+. Dr. Mann has presented paper on Indian Heritage in International conferences held at Edinburgh, Scotland sponsored by British Association of South Asian Studies. At National level, she has presented papers in conferences conducted by Indian Council of Historical Research, University of Delhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Indian History Congress etc. to name a few.
