Dr. Asheetu Bhatia Sarin is an avid reader and believer of hard work. She has 8+ years of experience in teaching in the field of Commerce and Management. She has been awarded Doctorate of Philosophy in the year 2019 in the area of Behavioral Finance. She did her Ph.D. on the topic “Behavioural Factors influencing Investment Decision and Investment Performance”. She earned her graduate degree in B.Com (H) from Delhi University and then went for higher studies. She did her post-graduation in MBA – Finance and Marketing from ICFAI Business School. Post her education she started teaching students and at the same time doing her freelancing activities in the field of management.

She joined VIPS, GGSIPU as an Assistant Professor in the year 2014 and since then is an integral part of VIPS family. She was associated with VSBS and taught B.Com, BBA and Banking and Insurance students. She taught diverse subjects like Financial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Value and Ethics in Business and International Business. She became part of VSLLS in the year 2016 and since then is guiding and mentoring law students. She is teaching management subjects like Business Environment and Ethical Practices, Marketing Management, Strategic Management, Principles of Management and Financial Accounting to BBA-LLB students.

Her area of interest lies in Behavioural Finance, Finance and Marketing. She is a lifetime member of Indian Commerce Association and has to her credit many publications under her wings. She has attended various FDPs, MDPs and Capacity Building Programmes and attended various conferences. Her publications cater to both International and National publications. She has also written a chapter on ‘Emotional Bias in Investment Decision-Making’ in the book named as Emotions, cognition, and their marvellous interplay in Managerial Decision- Making published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.

Apart from teaching she is a convener and member of various committees. She has been member and convener of Central Placement Cell and VSLLS Placement Committee (CCTIP) from 2016 onwards. She acted as a co-convenor in National Conference on Law and Behavior: Individual, Social & Organisational perspectives sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research. She has also coordinated the value added course on Start-up Law in collaboration with Singhania &Partners LLPs.
