The past two decades have seen an unparalleled advent of Globalization. This has contributed to quantitative and qualitative change in interaction amongst nations, corporations and other non-State actors in different parts of the world. The resultant issues, arguments and conflicts – all have necessitated regulation of relations amongst States and other international actors. International Law is the tool to study and regulate these International Relations. The last century has seen a lot of new challenges in the increased role of non-state actors, the emphasis placed on human rights, new approaches to the protection of the environment and mass migration waves, terrorism, etc. The Centre for Excellence in International Law and International Relations endeavours to analyse these challenges and the way in which international law responds to them.
