
Deepali Vashist
Dr Deepali Vashist is working as an Associate Professor in VSLLS, VIPS. She has done graduation from the University of Delhi (2004). LL.B from MDU, Rohtak (2007) and LL.M from GGSIPU, Delhi (2009). Dr. Vashist has qualified UGC NET (2010) thereafter, joined Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies as an Assistant Professor (2010). Since then, she has been an integral part of Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies. She has done Ph.D. on “Protection and Advancement of Rights of Farmers under the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights, 2001: A Critical Analysis” (2018) from GGSIPU, Delhi. Recently, in 2021, She has topped in a three months NPTEL online course on Patent Law for Engineers and Scientists.
Her areas of teachings are Code of Criminal Procedure, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property Laws. She has published more than a dozen papers in various International and National Journals. she has contributed Chapters in various edited books. Dr Vashist also has several presentations in National and International Conferences on her name.
She has also drafted and vetted the syllabus of Code of Criminal Procedure and IPR as the member of syllabus drafting committee of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha and Amity University. She acted as a judge in various Competition namely Moot court competition, Mediation, negotiation and client counselling competition. She has also chaired session in various national conferences.
She is the Convenor of the Centre of ADR and Timetable Committee. She has also been a forthcoming and active Member of VSLLS, VIPS Academic Programme Committee, Centre for PG studies and Centre for IPR. Working as a VIPS Legal Aid Society.
