
Dr. Moumita Mandal
Dr. Moumita Mandal completed her Ph.D. and M.Phil in International Law from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), LL.M in International Law from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS) and BA. LLB (Hons.) from University of Kalyani. Dr.Mandal served as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow under the Jawaharlal Nehru Chair and actively contributed to research programmes as well as in the teaching of two MA courses (International Law of Peace and Legal Controls of International Conflicts). She has made scholarly contributions to some cutting-edge issues of global concern as well as international and national seminars. Dr.Mandal was invited as a Judge of Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition; Bar Council of India Trust Inter-University Moot Court Competition, and so on. She has drafted a project for the WB Commission for Women on the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.
She has experience of organizing academic conferences, seminars and faculty development programmes.
She has taught various courses such as Public International Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Economic Law, Human Rights Law, Family Law, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, and so on.
