
Dr. Tanvi Sehgal
Dr. Tanvi Sehgal is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies, VIPS. She has completed her Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Lady Sri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She pursued her LL. B, LL.M and Ph.D. from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. The title of her Ph.D. thesis is “Revisiting Copyright Law in View of Contemporary Developments”. She has keen interest in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and has assisted Prof. Ashwani Kumar Bansal in his book on Trademarks, titled “Law of Trademarks in India” 3rd Edition (Thomson Reuters, 2014). She has also authored many research articles and contributed chapters for books on copyright law. While actively participating in both national and international conferences, she has twice won the ‘Best Research Paper Award”. Before joining VIPS as an Assistant Professor, she has taught for a period of about 3 years in Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
