
Ms. Himanshi Babbar
Ms. Himanshi Babbar is an Assistant Professor of Law at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS). With her immense interest in the study of finer aspects of the Land Laws, she is pursuing her Ph.D. on the topic ‘Compensatory mechanism in Land acquisition: Issues and Challenges’ highlighting the national and international perspectives. After completing her B.A.LL.B. (5 years integrated course) from VIPS, Himanshi completed her LL.M. (Constitutional Laws) from Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. The topic opted by her for writing her Dissertation was ‘Land Acquisition for Infrastructure Projects: Issues and Prospects’. While attending various Conferences and Seminars on law topics at Delhi, Nagpur and many other places, she has got to her credit several Paper Presentations, especially on the topic of Land Laws. With her remarkable ability to capture the attention of students, she has experience of teaching various law subjects and her teaching areas include Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing; Law of Torts; Transfer of Property Act etc. She has guided several students in their Dissertation and Socio Legal Research projects.
