Kanchan Lavania joined VSLLS as Assistant Professor. She pursued B.A LL.B (H) from Delhi and was awarded Gold Medal. She did her LL.M in Human Rights from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and was awarded Gold medal in Humanitarian Law. She teaches Criminology and Law, Poverty & Development, Constitutional Law, Family Law, Administrative Law, Jurisprudence, IPC and Land and Real Estate Laws, Women & Law and Environmental Law. Her area of interest is Constitutional Law and polity, Global Justice and Law, Jurisprudence and behavioral economics, Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She presently researches on Labour rights and Globalization, Law of sedition (analysis from Human Rights perspective), Condition of Prisoners in Tihar Jail Delhi in collaboration with NAAC.
