Neelam is an Associate Professor at VIPS. She teaches Corporate Law and Contract Law. She. She is the convenor of Research Committee and a member of Centralized Examination Committee and Moot Court Society.

She authored one book named Revival of Sick Units: Law and Policy, 2014. She also authored various articles and research papers.
