Dr. Nipun Gupta Jain is an Assistant Professor, Law having specialization in Intellectual Property Laws. Dr. Nipun completed her Ph.D. (Law) on the topic titled ‘An Analytical Study of Legal Regime on Traditional Cultural Expressions under IPR in India’. She has several articles to her credit on different topics, such as, TCEs and international perspective, need for protection, protection under copyright and Refugees status in India. She has, also, organised and attended various workshops, National and International Conferences in the span of ten years of experience in academics. Her area of teaching includes Intellectual Property Laws, Law and Emerging Technology, Law of Torts, Banking and Insurance, Labour Laws, Investment and Competition Laws, Legal Method. She is the member for Centre for Intellectual Property rights and Centre of Excellence for Cyber Law and Convenor for Alumni Committee. She was ‘faculty-in-charge’ for CSR society of VIPS, wherein, she undertook activities like cleanliness drives, visit to orphanage and blood donation camp during her tenure from August 2017-December 2018. She has also worked as Law Researcher at Delhi Judicial Academy, Delhi and practiced with Advocates of High Court of Delhi and Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi.
