Sonia Maan, an alumni of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS). Sonia teaches subjects like Company Law and Legal English and Communication Skills.

She completed her 5 years B.A LL.B (H) integrated course from and prepared her dissertation on the topic “Death penalty”. She then went on to pursue her masters in law from National Law University, Delhi and earned her Post-Graduate Degree by specializing in the subjects of Corporate Law and Intellectual Property Rights. She prepared her dissertation on “Minority Shareholders” and got a distinction.

Prior to joining VIPS, she had practiced in various Trial Courts and also interned with CCI and DLSA. She also assisted in the preparation of the MOOCS course material, an initiative of UGC. In addition to this, she has published articles in Journals titled “Live In Relationship as a New Form of Family” and “Third Party Risks relating to Motor Vehicles”.
